What is the address?

play.villagebud.net. The old address 203.16.163.87:20998 still works.

Which version?

Java Edition 1.21.4. Newer 1.21 versions work too.

I join and I'm lagging, or I can't move.

On a client much newer than 1.21.4 you may glitch when you join and not be able to move. It is a rare bug that only hits some players on newer versions; others play on 1.21.11 without problems. If it happens to you, pick 1.21.4 in your launcher and join again.

Can I play on Bedrock (phone, console, Windows 10 Edition)?

No, VillageBud is Java Edition only.

Do I need mods?

No. The server sends a resource pack when you join. Accept it, or the custom items, creatures and menus won't look right.

The resource pack failed, or everything looks wrong.

Multiplayer → select VillageBud → Edit → Server Resource Packs: Enabled → Done, then join again.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Invite them to your island with /is invite <name>. Upgrades give you more member slots.

My island missions and upgrades went back to level 1!

On 25 September 2026, island missions and upgrades were reset once, to launch the new missions and the 60-tier generator. Islands, blocks, members, banks, money and ranks were not touched.

Can I switch between Heaven and Hell?

No. Your first path rank-up is your final choice.

Is VillageBud the same server as BudLands?

Yes. BudLands was an early name.

I found a bug.

Tell staff on Discord: your name, what happened, where and when, and a screenshot if you have one.

I found a dupe or an exploit.

Don't share it. Tell staff privately on Discord.

When do pets come?

Soon. The players will vote on which creatures become pets. Follow r/VillageBudMC and the Discord.

Is the server finished?

No, VillageBud is in open beta. Things change often, and your feedback shapes what comes next. 💚
